We are currently looking for engaging, reliable substitute teachers to cover classes at all levels, from pre-kindergarten to high school. In this position, you will take over for full-time teachers in their absence, carrying out the their lesson plans and ensuring students have a fulfilling classroom experience. The ideal candidates will have prior substitute-teaching experience and the ability to lead the class in an orderly fashion.

• Adhere to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher.

• Follow procedures and achieve lesson goals.

• Assign and explain homework.

• Oversee students outside of the classroom including in the hallways and cafeteria.

• Comply with all school regulations and policies at all times.

• Maintain track of students' attendance.
  ‍
• Encourage participation and make learning more fun.

• Make lesson plans, mark assignments, tests, and homework, and attend parent-teacher conferences.
  ‍
• Report any inappropriate behavior by pupils inside or outside the classroom.

• Take attendance and document daily notes.

• Ensure classroom and work are kept clean and orderly.

• Oversee the normal classroom rhythms and activities.

• Compile a report for the teacher when he/she returns.

• BSc in Education or other degree in Teaching
  ‍
• Previous experience as a part-time or full-time Teacher

• Additional experience working with children is a plus

• In-depth knowledge of learning techniques and teaching methods

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexible, friendly, and skilled at quickly building rapport with students

• The ability to remain patient and approachable while also maintaining an orderly classroom

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
